SilverLakes Summer Showcase 2025 Rules
FIFA Laws of the Game will apply as modified by USYSA and US Club as described herein.
SilverLakes Signature Series will host the 9th Annual SilverLakes Summer Showcase from Friday July 25th – Monday July 28th, 2025. 11v11 Teams will play 1 game per day with finals being on Monday. 9v9/7v7 Teams will play 2 games on Saturday and 1 on Sunday with the finals being on Monday. This event will be for Boys and Girls with birth years between 2017 – 2007/08. All teams will be placed in a group of 4 and be guaranteed 3 full-length games. The winner of the groups will advance to Monday for a chance to compete in the championship.
The duration of Games by Halves, and Ball Size is as follows:
Games involving 2017-2014 will be played with a size #4 ball.
2013-2007/08 will be played with an official size #5 ball.
2017, 2016: 30 minute halves (With Build out Lines)
2015, 2014: 30 minute halves
2013, 2012: 35 minute halves
2011, 2010: 40 minute halves
2009, 20007/08: 45 minute halves

2013 – 2007: Divisions will play 11 v 11

In the event that there is still a tie after the tiebreakers above we will go to coin flip.
If the Coaches/Team Administrators of both teams, meet with the Tournament Director and agree to a score correction, the Tournament Director will send the correct the score to the Referee Coordinator to correct the score.
Scores incorrectly posted on Website shall be investigated by Field Marshall by checking the original match record and corrected accordingly.
- Matches that are at the halftime break or in the second half of play will have the score stand.
- Matches that are less than 20 minutes into the first half will be deemed not to have been played.
- Matches for a given day may be postponed and played the following day if fields are available.
- Matches may be shortened in order to play all assigned matches. If all assigned matches are unable to be played, awards will be made based on a point system to be determined by the Tournament Committee.
